The Opening Game Pass Titles of 2026 Reveal Xbox Isn't Giving Up Yet.

Across the gaming landscape, enthusiasts continue to ring the death bells for the Xbox brand. Xbox was recently outsold by a relatively obscure console. Dedicated Xbox communities have started writing regarding Sony's platform unprecedentedly. Last year proved to be complete chaos for the Xbox ecosystem. Yet, based exclusively on what's coming to Game Pass in 2026, it's evident that the green gaming company still intends to draw people in with compelling titles on its premier subscription.

The Immediate Additions

The duo of games currently accessible at this moment, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, are not the headliners. The true anticipation is for the upcoming titles to Game Pass soon that's worth getting excited about.

Upcoming Headline Games

On Jan. 13, the platform will add the often-overlooked Star Wars Outlaws, a sprawling adventure that deviates from typical Ubisoft design with a cosmic robbery tale. An additional significant inclusion is Resident Evil Village with its iconic tall vampire, which our 2021 review called "the perfect cocktail of frights and fights."

Compelling Indie Titles

But even the smaller games coming to Game Pass soon are noteworthy here. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, the criminally overlooked roguelike offering thrilling gameplay, arrives January 7th — and you should try it whether or not you experienced the first Lost in Random game.

The game set in a ruined Britain from last year might get its hooks in you within just a quarter of an hour.

Atomfall, the stealth survival game by the makers of Sniper Elite, is also a game to check out. Those with the top-tier subscription also have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition to look forward to.

A Well-Rounded Collection

All in all, these aren't the most groundbreaking additions to Game Pass, and they don't represent massive exclusive blockbusters that justify the service alone. However, this batch of games are exceptionally strong. The lineup provides a solid mix of old games you might have missed and fairly new titles that lacked the recognition they warranted upon launch — which makes them perfect candidates to get a second chance on Game Pass.

Hope you're ready to bid farewell to The Grinch Christmas Adventures, though.
